Represent Autism Speaks and become a Community Ambassador
Community Ambassadors serve as Autism Speaks representative within their local communities to raise awareness about Autism Speaks’ free resources, including the 100 Day Kit for newly-diagnosed families, the School Community Tool Kit and the Transition Tool Kit. Community Ambassadors will perform outreach by visiting between 5 – 10 assigned locations within their local communities.
Each prospective Community Ambassador is asked to participate in a one-time 30-minute orientation conference call & Webinar to learn more about Autism Speaks, the free services for families and the role of a Community Ambassador. One call is conducted each month. On-site presentations are available for community and corporate volunteer teams.
Interested volunteers can become an Autism Speaks Community Ambassador by completing this sign-up form and returning it to Autism Speaks at 224-567-8574, or by calling 224-567-8573.
