Volunteer Opportunities

Whether it's stuffing envelopes, identifying service providers, or chairing a walk, volunteers make the difference!

Community Leadership Committee
The Community Leadership Committee plans and implements the Autism Speaks fundraising, advocacy, outreach and awareness activities in several regions of the state including the Autism Speaks Walks! We are in need of committee members and chairs.

Local Community Events
Quite often, Autism Speaks is asked to host an informational table at local events. We are always looking for volunteers, throughout the state, that have a few hours to dedicate to staffing a resource table. All resources and materials will be provided to you before the event. If you are interested in helping please contact your local office.

Walk Day Volunteers
The success of Autism Speaks Walk is greatly dependent on the dedication and support of volunteers. In order to reduce costs and dedicate more funds to autism research, Autism Speaks Walk will rely on volunteers to assist in many capacities - checking in participants, providing encouragement at water stops and cleaning up after the event. You can even recruit your friends, family and coworkers to form a volunteer team!
