Autism Speaks Community Ambassadors Program
Community Ambassadors help connect Chicago families with the free resources, tools and services that Autism Speaks offers. To date, more than 100 volunteers are trained ambassadors and perform outreach into the community for the 100 Day Kit (available in English and Spanish), the Asperger Syndrome/High Functioning Autism Tool Kit and the Transition Tool Kit. This program is helping to connect families with resources when they need us most.
Internships and Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities
Can you believe that with all of these events going on, we only have five full time staff members in the Chicagoland office? We could certainly use help! Check out our Facebook Page for one-off opportunities or contact firstname.lastname@example.org for internship opportunities.
