Autism Speaks to Young Professionals (AS2YP)

Many AS2YP members celebrated World Autism Awareness Day at The Bean on April 2nd, 2014 in support of the international Light It Up Blue campaign!

For the 6th straight year, Chicagoans took to the streets of Wrigleyville to raise needed funds and awareness for autism, all while dressing head to toe in denim!

The Double Denim Bar Crawl for Autism Speaks raised over $6,000! Bar crawlers had the opportunity to win prizes, awards and contests throughout the afternoon, all proceeds benefited Autism Speaks 2 Young Professionals. Two articles of denim were required to truly paint the town blue, both as a funny poke to the double denim fashion trend and a symbol of Autism Speaks' "Light it up Blue" campaign for Autism Awareness Month.

SAVE THE DATE: The bar crawl is back for their 7th year of awesomeness this April 25th, where organizers have some new tricks up their sleeves to make the event unforgettable.
