Screening of "Circles"

There will be a free and public screening of the Circles film on August 21 at the CDC's Tom Harkin Global Communications Center. The Circles trailer previews a short film using a groundbreaking concept in narrative movie making - using autistic actors to play autistic characters. Eighty percent of the cast and crew are on the autism spectrum. Circles is an authentic look at a moment in time between two best friends, one of whom is being sent to a distant residential school. The film explores the struggle to understand and express the emotions of a friendship being torn apart. To learn about this and additional screenings to be scheduled throughout the area, please visit and sign up for the newsletter.
